Raycast is a keyboard launcher with a large extension store, clipboard history and its own AI plans. Supermac is a native Swift app that keeps launcher search, AI with your own key, window snapping and a set of everyday Mac tools in one place. Both are good at different jobs.
Raycast wins on extension breadth and clipboard workflows. Supermac wins when you want launcher, AI, window snapping and the everyday utilities in one native app.

FAQ
Is Supermac a drop-in replacement for Raycast?
No. Supermac covers launcher search, AI, window snapping and several everyday utilities, but it does not try to match Raycast's extension store, clipboard history or snippets. The table above shows the gaps.
Can I use my own AI key in both?
Supermac always uses your own key or a local model; there is no bundled AI subscription. Raycast AI has paid plans with monthly AI Credits and also supports your own API keys or Claude/ChatGPT subscriptions.
Does Supermac run on Windows?
No. Supermac is macOS only and needs macOS 14 Sonoma or later. Raycast also has a Windows app.
Where do these claims come from?
Every Supermac row is a shipped feature documented on /features or in the docs, and the page links to those pages. Competitor rows link to the vendor page they came from, and the page shows when those sources were last checked.
